When
our Lord Jesus Christ went to the cross Satan thought he had defeated the Son of God but the devil was completely mistaken.
The crucifixion of Jesus has been the best kept secret since the beginning of the world. “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden mystery which God ordained before the ages for our glory,
which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” (1
Cor. 2:7-8) “Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself
likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release
those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” (Heb. 2:14-15)
When I
went to Melbourne,
Australia I spent most of my sixteen days with Liang, Eugenia’s
husband, and also with “Sunny”, one of Eugenia’s closest friends. I learned from them that Eugenia was not
afraid to die and she was prepared to meet her God. Her positive attitude towards death could only have come from the Lord
Jesus Christ.
Our
Lord Jesus Christ said: “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain
of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.” (Jn.
12:24) This is a beautiful illustration of the necessary sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Our Lord had to die to pay the penalty
for our sin and also to show His power over death. By His death the whole of mankind can receive salvation.
Stephen,
the first martyr, was stoned to death as he prayed for his persecutors and one of them was Saul, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” (Acts 7:57-70) Stephen’s prayer and death
made a profound impact on Paul, who later became the world’s greatest missionary.
God had
used the deaths of my grandmother and father as powerful testimonies to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. I remember
after my grandmother died in Ipoh, Malaysia,
a sweet and fragrant aroma filled the whole room, and it had made a strong impact on many relatives and friends of the family
who were not Christians. The funeral procession for my grandmother was a grand affair. It was formed by a long line of mourners
walking behind the hearse, followed by three bands that were evenly spaced out. There were more than forty cars with passengers
and many trucks that carried wreaths and banners. The funeral was like one given to a state dignitary. It was very well attended
by many prominent and ordinary people in Ipoh who knew her
to be an examplary Christian woman who loved God and others as she loved herself. Go to: My Grandmother, a Woman of Faith"
My father,
Zacchaeus Wong, became a minister and he preached the gospel of Jesus Christ in Malaysia
and Canada. When he was sick in the hospital
in Toronto our family prayed for him. As my mother was weeping
and praying for him at about dawn, she was filled with the Holy Spirit and began to prophesy, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psm. 30:5) Our Lord Jesus Christ
took my father home that same morning of my mother’s prophesying. During the Memorial Service of my father a family
that are distant relatives whom we have not met for several years, came to pay their respects. They noticed our family was
very composed and wanted to know how we were able to have that kind of attitude. We explained to them our Christian beliefs
and witnessed the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Praise and thank God that whole family believed in the Lord
Jesus Christ and was baptized into Him.
My sister
Winnie had asked God to give her a sign that all was well with Eugenia. On Tuesday May 3 between 1:30 a.m. and 2:30
a.m. as she was praying for her sister. she sang spiritual songs with laughter and was full of joy. Winnie’s
prayer is a good sign that Eugenia is now with our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is not
easy for our family, both in the United States and in Canada, to accept the reality that our dear sister Eugenia
has gone home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is even harder for Liang, Eugenia’s husband, who truly loves her,
to come to this realization that she will no longer be with him again. One thing will help all of us is the comfort that we
shall meet her again in heaven when the Lord Jesus Christ returns.
My
First Impression of Melbourne was Good
I have
learned many things, mostly good ones, when I stayed in Melbourne, Australia for sixteen days from April 17 through May 3, 2005. After the plane arrived at the Melbourne
airport the captain of the aircraft gave us a warm greeting and announced the outside temperature was 24 degrees Centigrade
which is 75 degrees Fahrenheit. There was bright sunshine. That was the typical weather of Melbourne
throughout the sixteen days I was there. I read in the local newspaper that the
Autumn weather during that period was the best ever recorded in their history. What
a blessing! When I met Liang’s brothers and sisters-in-law they complimented
me for bringing the good weather to Melbourne. But I said, “Praise and thank God!”
After going
through immigration and customs I was met by Brother Walter Vun who came with his son Michael.
Brother Abraham Ng and his wife Suan-Sim were also there. During the trip
from the airport to the hospital Brother Walter told me that Eugenia’s faith had been good. She and Liang had been attending church services regularly. This
is a good report.
My
Ministry with Eugenia in Melbourne
I went
to Melbourne with several objectives concerning my sister
Eugenia. The main ones were to pray for the healing of her cancer sickness at the end stage, to ensure that she had the right
relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, and also to give encouragement to Liang and the relatives and friends in that city.
I
remembered my prayer at the San Francisco
airport when I asked God whether or not He would let my sister Eugenia die. God’s answer was: “It all depends
on your sister.” Of course, I did not know whether or not my sister would live or die, but I would do everything within
my ability to see that she lived. Another objective was also to minister to Eugenia in every way I could to prepare her for
heaven should she not survive the end stage of her cancer sickness.
One of the purposes
of my going to Melbourne was
to pray for the healing of my sister Eugenia. As long as she was still breathing, her heart was still beating and she had
not crossed the line to eternity, we would still believe that she could be healed.
The Palliative Care Unit in Melbourne, Australia
From the Melbourne Airport I was brought
straight to the Palliative Care Unit (PCU) of the Heidelberg
Repatriation Hospital. Let me explain what a Palliative Care Unit is. The word “palliative” means
soothing anxieties, other intense emotions and also physical pain. Palliative
Care treats only symptoms and not the cause. In the case of cancer in which the
symptom is excruciating pain the Palliative Care treatment is to only alleviate the pain and not cure cancer or prolong life.
Here is the mission statement of the Palliative Care Unit at this hospital.
“The Palliative Care Unit is committed to providing comprehensive care for
patients with progressive, advanced disease and a limited life expectancy, and also to the support of their families.
Admission to the Palliative Care Unit may be for
· The treatment of pain or physical symptoms
· The management of psychosocial problems
· Respite care
· End of life care
When people have acute illness in the United States
they are normally sent to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital and are treated for the purpose of healing and also
the alleviation of pain. For terminal illness they are admitted in hospices where
patients are taken care in the best way to allow them to live as long as possible. We seldom hear or read about the Palliative
Care Unit within the hospitals in the U.S.A.
but they do exist.
Agreement to Pray for the Healing of Eugenia
On the first day of my arrival at the Palliative Care Unit I met Liang in the family room.
He was distraught about the Eugenia's health condition. The previous day was very bad for Eugenia. She had not eaten and was unable to speak. Liang had tried
to give her water just before our arrival, but she could not drink even a little bit.
There were six people in the family room. They were Brother Walter, Brother Michael, Brother Abraham and his wife
Sister Suan-Sim, Liang and me. All six of us agreed to pray for the healing of
Eugenia.
After a short while we entered the room where Eugenia was resting, all of us joined hands in prayer. As we all prayed
in one accord I laid hands on Eugenia's forehead. After the prayer Liang gave Eugenia some water and she drank it. After some
time Liang gave Eugenia some more water and she also drank it. In the afternoon she also drank some carrot juice. A little
bit later she indicated that she wanted to eat some food. That was the first sign of positive response from Eugenia. Liang was truly encouraged at that time.
God’s People Praying for Eugenia
Many believers of the Lord Jesus Christ have been praying
for my sister Eugenia. Time and space does not allow me to list their names. This is truly God's bringing His people together
in one accord to do His will. There are ministers and members of the True Jesus Churches in Melbourne, Houston and all over the world praying for her. There are many prayerful Christian friends
from the Australia For Christ Fellowship, Apostolic World Christian Fellowship, Assemblies of God, Pentecostal churches, Roman
Catholics, Baptists, Presbyterians, Messianic Jewish congregations, and it is impossible for me to name the hundreds and thousands
of prayer warriors from the ARK Forum, Two Testament, etc, etc. who have been fervently praying for Eugenia.
Liang’s relatives and friends in Melbourne have
been extremely supportive in visiting Eugenia in the hospital almost daily. The hospital staff have performed their duties
admirably making Eugenia’s stay comfortable.
There were Apparent Signs of Healing
Disclaimer Note: Descriptions of healing in this article are my personal observations from a minister's

From Tuesday April 19 through Thursday April 21 Eugenia was completely conscious and alert on everything around her and
she could communicate with us. When visitors arrived she would smile at them
and before they left she would persuade Liang to take them out for lunch. She
also reminded Liang to do the chores she normally did at home. Several months
before our family had called long-distance from Houston and
our grandson Joshua sang “Someone is praying for you” to Eugenia over the phone.
She smiled when she thought about Joshua’s singing. I told her about
our twin grand-daughters Faith and Grace who are very cheerful and like to smile. Eugenia
was happy to hear about the twins. When Liang reminded her of their plans to
visit our family in Houston, Texas
and also our farm property to see our neighbor’s cattle and horses she also smiled at the thought of it. Eugenia really wanted to get well so that she and Liang could visit us in the United
States and Canada.
On Monday April 25 2005 Liang and I arrived at the hospital at about 10:15 a.m. in the morning, and I noticed that Eugenia's
cheeks had some color. The whole of the previous week her whole face was pale. At first I thought the nurses had rubbed her face with some cream but that was not
the case. When I examined Eugenia's face more closely I saw the blood veins had
caused the ruddy color on her cheeks. In the afternoon Sister Jade Loh, who is
a registered nurse, came to visit Eugenia. I asked her about the color of Eugenia's
cheeks. Sister Jade confirmed it was the blood in the veins, and she said it was a very good sign of recovery. It means the blood circulation system in her body was functioning normally.
On Sunday May 1, 2005) Liang's brother Richard and his wife came to visit Eugenia again. His wife made a significant remark.
She said three days previously Eugenia's fingernails had turned blue, but the day before it had become normal like everybody
else's. She had been a nurse so she knew its significance. It meant that blood circulation had returned to normal even to the finger tips which were warm. Praise the Lord, HalleluYah!
Sanctification of the Spirit, Soul and Body
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole
spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thes. 5:23)
Although Eugenia had been a Christian all her life and had also been born again of water and the Spirit, yet during her
illness with cancer she had been attacked so viciously by the enemy that her mind had been confused from time to time. At one moment she held up her left arm that had been reduced in the swelling and kept
on asking, “Funny, how did my hand become like that? Who did that?” Liang and I assured her it was the Lord Jesus Christ who had healed her left arm.
During the period when Eugenia’s consciousness and alertness was at its peak I spoke to her about the Lord Jesus
Christ. I asked her to repeat over and over again that Jesus is the One True
God who manifested Himself in the flesh. He came to die for her and shed His
precious blood for her sins. Jesus died, was buried and resurrected from the
dead. I emphasized she must accept Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Although Eugenia was too weak to speak but she acknowledged acceptance and agreement
at every point that I made. We said the Lord’s Prayer together many times.
Just like any of us Eugenia was subjected to the works of the flesh such as hatred, jealousy, envy, bitterness and other
negative human emotions. The Holy Bible informs us that “those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.” (Gal. 1:19-21) Praise and thank God she had acknowledged her sins and wanted
to have a good relationship with God and other people.
Cancer is both a Physical
and a Spiritual Sickness
We all need to realize that cancer is not just a nasty physical illness, but it is one that is afflicted by Satan. God
sometimes allows acute sickness to happen, even to good people for good reasons (Job 2:6-7; 2 Cor. 12:7). We did have a spiritual
battle on our hands.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Eph. 6:12).
Let me make it very clear that Eugenia was not possessed by an evil spirit (1 Jn. 5:18), but she had been bound by the
spirit of infirmity like the woman with a bent back (Lk. 13:11-16).
At that time I understood why God told me during
my prayer in the San Francisco airport waiting lounge that
whether or not Eugenia would be healed depended on her. The word of God has warned
us about the danger of not forgiving others their faults (Mt. 6:14) and also about prolonged anger (Eph.4:26, 30-32).
She had to confess and renounce her sins before healing could take place (Jas. 5:13-16; 1 Jn. 2:8-10). I was thankful to our
heavenly Father for revealing all those things to me, and being her elder brother I was able to discuss those faults with
her. She agreed to renounce them and that made a whole lot of difference in the healing process (Jas. 5:13-16).
I
told Liang the spirit of infirmity (cancer) had invaded her brain and warped her senses, therefore we had to get rid of it
otherwise healing could not begin. In that whole afternoon after all the guests had left the room Liang and I spent a long
time binding and casting out many undesirable spirits from Eugenia's body. Praise and thank God many of the spirits had left
and she was able to say very clearly: "HalelluYah, Praise the Lord Jesus Christ." Her left hand that was swollen had been
partially recovered to its normal size. The nurse also confirmed the dressing
on her neck was getting dry. Liang told me that on a previous occasion when she
had a successful chemotherapy or radiation treatment he noticed her left hand had become smaller and the dressing had become
dry. Those were definite signs of healing and recovery on the way.
Eugenia received the Holy Communion
On
Thursday April 28 I conducted a special Holy Communion service for my sister Eugenia.
The Catholics and Episcopalians (Church of England) call it the Eucharist and some Protestant churches call it the
Lord’s Supper. We call it the Holy Communion because it is a biblical terminology
(1 Cor. 10:16-17). It has been quite a long time since Eugenia partook of the
spiritual flesh and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. We read two important Scriptures
that pertain to the Holy Communion and salvation.
“I am the
bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down
from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which
I shall give for the life of the world." The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, "How can this Man give
us His flesh to eat?" Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of
Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I
will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and
drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who
feeds on Me will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down from heaven--not as your fathers ate the manna,
and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever." (Jn. 6:48-58)
“And as they
were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."
Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood
of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit
of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom."
(Mt. 26:26-29)
One of the reasons
for partaking of the Holy Communion is for sanctification. The Christian must
have self-judgment and confession of sins to become worthy of partaking “the
body and blood of the Lord” (1 Cor. 11:27-32). Eugenia had already done that part. Our Lord Jesus Christ
said, “For this is My blood
of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” (Mt.
26:28) By partaking of the Holy Communion Eugenia’s sins have been remitted,
and she was ready to meet her God and Savior Jesus Christ. What a great blessings
for her!
Since
Eugenia had been eating food only in liquid form I had to dissolve a small piece of the "unleavened bread" in water and spoon-fed
her. I also had to spoon-feed the "grape-juice" into her mouth. There is
no doubt in my mind the Holy Communion that I shared with my sister Eugenia is a good preparation for her to enter our Father’s
heavenly kingdom.
Dedication of Eugenia
to the Lord Jesus Christ
On
the afternoon of Friday April 29 my sister Nornie from Toronto, Canada and I prayed together on the telephone and we dedicated Eugenia to the Lord
Jesus Christ with the agreement of her husband Liang. Eugenia has been dedicated
to the Lord Jesus Christ and her life is now in the hands of God. Liang was pleased
that since Eugenia was dedicated to God he was resigned to let God decide what to do with his wife.
Two Sabbath Services in the Hospital
While
I was in Melbourne I attended two Friday evening services
and after the two Saturday afternoon church services Brother Stephen and Sister Irene brought me to the hospital where we
held short Sabbath services. On both services Liang and “Sunny” were
in attendance. In the second service three other sisters – Jade, Moi Jun
and Maria also attended.
It is
important for Eugenia to attend the Sabbath services in the hospital because she could not go to church at all. You can read the sermons preached during the services in the hospital.

Apparent Signs of Healing even
on the
Day before Eugenia Died
We are very thankful to God that two church members are working in the same hospital as the one where Eugenia was staying.
Brother Stephen Cheung who is a pharmacist, and Sister Jade Loh who is a registered nurse, have been visiting Eugenia regularly
and praying with her.
On Monday May 2 the day before I left Melbourne, Sister
Jade came and stayed for quite a long time and she performed some professional duties on Eugenia and the results were extremely
encouraging and uplifting.
Heartbeat: Jade checked Eugenia's pulse rate twice at ten minutes interval and found out that it was perfectly normal at 80 per
minute. The normal heartbeat is between 70 to 90 per minute. This indicates Eugenia's
heart is functioning normally.
Urine: It has a normal color, indicating the kidney and liver are functioning normally.
Blood: Circulation: Jade said the tips of Eugenia's fingers are warm and the color is ruddy. This means the blood circulation
is good because the blood is still pumped to the finger-tips.
The most prominent sign of improvement in Eugenia's health condition is the
reduction in the swelling in her left arm. Her hand and wrist was almost back to normal size and her upper forearm and upper
arm had been reduced considerably. This is a sign that the cancer cells were diminishing.
How did we know that?
In August 2003 Liang noticed the swelling on Eugenia's left arm and hand and the medical authorities confirmed she
was on the fourth stage of cancer, which is considered terminal. When she had her first chemotherapy treatment it was very
successful and her whole left arm and hand were reduced almost back to normal but not completely. Later on the cancer came back and her left arm and hand were swollen again. Now, without any medical treatment,
it was reduced in size. That could only mean the cancer cells were reducing.
Brother Stephen told us the fracture of the bone on Eugenia's left arm could be very painful. Sister Jade said that
the bone fracture could also have increased the swelling. The reduction of the swelling in the left arm indicated there could
be the healing of the bone. There was also another indication that the bone was
healing because Eugenia no longer showed signs of pain as she did the previous week. Praise God! Liang was comforted that his wife did not have the agonizing pain at that time.
The nurses changed the dressing on Eugenia's neck and breast twice a day. We had been praying to cast out the filth
on her body, mind and brain. Just before we left her room that afternoon we noticed the dressing on her neck had some stains.
Liang also noticed some sweat on her forehead, which meant some filth was expelled through the pores of her skin. Our prayers were answered.
At about 6:30 p.m. on Monday evening when I saw my sister Eugenia for the last time she was still breathing and her heart
was still beating. The only thing that concerned me was that she was still
unconscious from the increased dosage of morphine and sedatives that were given her on Friday April 29. For the duration of
four days she had not eaten any food nor drank any liquid, and there were no feeding tubes for nutrients or liquids. Anyway
I praise and thank our Lord Jesus Christ she was still alive when I left her hospital room for the last time.
Shocking News of Eugenia's Death
came through the Email
I left Melbourne on Tuesday May 3 at 11:25 a.m. for
my return flights to the United States. After I arrived home in Houston
and slept one night I woke up early on Wednesday May 4 and opened Liang’s email which is shown below:
Dear family members,
A short note to inform all of you that Gene has gone home to be with the Lord today,
Wednesday 4th May 2005 at 4:30 p.m.
“Sunny”, Irene and myself were at Gene’s bedside when she went
to be with the Lord very peacefully without any pain and so I do Thank and Praise
the Lord for this.
The funeral will probably be on Monday 9th May 2005. Will write again when all arrangements are finalized.

After reading this email, and with a heavy heart, I had to rush to the Houston
Intercontinental Airport (IAH) for my flight
to Evansville to attend the AWCF World Conference. There were many AWCF ministers who are subscribers to the ARK
Forum. They told me they had prayed for my sister and offered a handshake of
condolence to me. Without expression of words many would like to know why after so many believers in the Lord Jesus Christ have prayed in one
accord, and after having so many apparent signs of healing, a cancer patient would still die.
ANSWER
Our family fully accepts Eugenia's going home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ is for her gain and is "far better" than her pain and suffering from the cancer (Phil.
1:21-23).
Three people who were closest to Eugenia
The Lord had blessed Eugenia with a good husband and many good friends in Melbourne,
Australia. On
the afternoon of Wednesday May 4, 2005 Eugenia went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ.
On her bedside were three people who had been very close to her.
Liang had been a loving and faithful
husband to Eugenia for more than thirty years. During my short stay of sixteen
days in Melbourne with him I had observed he was truly an
exemplary devoted and loving husband. He would do almost anything to have his
wife stay alive. I have seen his tears many times when he was just thinking how much he would miss Eugenia. All married couples can learn from their loving relationship.
”Sunny” was not only a close friend of Eugenia’s but also an inspiration to her as
well. God had healed her ovarian cancer and she has been cancer-free for sixteen
years. Although she holds a regular job like many Australian women, but she would
still find time to visit Eugenia at the hospital almost every day, just to be by her bedside to comfort and feed her. The friendship between Eugenia and “Sunny” reminds me of the movie “Beaches”
(Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey) which is about two very close friends. When
one of them had cancer the other cared for her until death. One afternoon while
I was in Eugenia’s room I heard the “Beaches“ theme song - “Wind beneath my Wings” You may hear

Some of us were afraid that Eugenia might have slipped in her faith since she got cancer. I have asked this same question
to Liang and those who were close to her in Melbourne. "Sunny"
is one of Eugenia's closest friends and she has written a statement on Eugenia's faith since having cancer. Here it is below:
"During the time
I spent with Gene while she was fighting the cancer at home I had the time to talk to Gene about many things. We often spoke
about the Lord and our beliefs and faith. Gene tried very hard to do everything that would help her to recover and get well.
She would often ask me, "What else can I do?" and we would go over the treatments. At the end of these discussions Gene would always say, "But I will leave it to the Lord."
Gene was very happy in Australia.
Here she felt she could freely practise her faith. She had a very strong faith and joining in prayer with other members of
the church was a fulfillment of her life on earth. She never needed more. She did everything she could to heal herself but
continued to believe strongly in the Lord and never forgetting that in the end it would be up to the Lord.
Gene never turned against the Lord she only ever became stronger in her faith.
Gene always had her Bible by her side and even when she could no longer read it she would hold it in her hand as a source
of comfort. Gene never lost sight of the Lord and I think that the Lord never lost sight of Gene."
"Sunny"
Irene and her husband Stephen live within walking distance from Liang’s and Eugenia’s home in Doncaster, a suburb
of Melbourne. While
Stephen works in the same hospital as the one in which Eugenia was staying, Irene also works with a company that is located
very close to the same hospital. The close friendship between these two couples
is also brought about by their worshiping in the same church. Liang has told
me many times that Stephen and Irene are very good Christians who not only love them in word but also in deeds. Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. By this
all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (Jn. 13:34-35)
Blessed are the dead who
die in the Lord
“Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments
of God and the faith of Jesus. Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me,
‘Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ‘Yes’, says the Spirit, ‘that they may rest from their labors, and

Here is the testimony of my sister Winnie.
On 3 May, Tuesday evening I phoned my family members in Toronto that I would not be able to participate in the usual evening prayer for Eugenia.
This is usually after dinner at about 8.00 pm. On this particular evening my husband Charles and I would be out for dinner.
I told them that I would pray for Gene after I return home.
At 1.30 am to 2.30 am I suddenly remember my commitment to pray for Gene. I knelt
down. I pleaded to God to show me that everything is well with her. To my surprise I was singing spiritual song with laughter
and joy. I did not understand why this happened and why I was so happy. At the end of the prayer I noted the time as the heater
just came on due to the low outside temperature of 2 degrees C (about 36 degree F).
The next morning when I opened my email, I received the news that my sister, Eugenia has been called back to the Lord
in Melbourne, Australia
at approximately the same time. Then I realised that this was the message from God that all is well with her. I need not worry
any more. She is now no longer suffering physical pain and Jesus is taking care of her. So I realised why my prayer is joyful
and not in sorrow. She is now safe in the arms of Jesus."

Among the five sisters in our family Winnie is the one closest to Eugenia. Winnie and my brother Tuck-Lee flew to Melbourne from
Toronto to attend the funeral of our dear sister Eugenia. Although our family will miss her very much, yet we rejoice that she is now in Paradise
with the Lord Jesus Christ, and we shall see her again when the Lord returns to bring us into His heavenly kingdom. HalleluYah, Amen!
